“The lawyers never filed a suit seeking to prevent release of the document. All they did was file the automatic motion to dismiss in response to other people’s suits. So wrong on point 2.”

His lawyers may not have initiated an action to prevent release, but they did get out of bed to respond to other people’s actions. I’m sure there were billable hours involved. How much is really immaterial although I’m sure those lawyers don’t work cheap.

None of those actions were simple demands to see the document. Responding to them is not the same thing as seeking to block the document.
