Could it be that they don’t have original paper copies anymore, that they have digitized scanned images of the original? In that case, they would print the original image over new paper. This doesn’t have to be something nefarious, but some people just won’t be convinced no matter what is released. I put those folks in the same class as Truthers, who believe what they want to believe in spite of all evidence.
Granted, I wondered why he fought to prevent the release, but now that we have it, there are far, far more important fish to fry. Who really cares at this point about a birth certificate? What important is his record. That’s what he needs to defend now. He’s literally destroying the country, but we’re going to quibble over college records???
Well, they could easily release that instead of releasing a Photoshop joke.
Anybody that does genealogy research from microfilmed original documents can tell you that it only costs 25 cents to push the "PRINT" button on the microfilm viewer and get a hard copy of the microfilm image of the original document.
“Could it be that they dont have original paper copies anymore, that they have digitized scanned images of the original?”
That is exactly what they released. And if you look closely that is exactly what the Nordyke form is as well.
“some people just wont be convinced no matter what is released.”
Of course.
They didnt believe a valid COLB. They didnt believe officials making statements declaring his info is on file. They didnt believe newspaper announcements.
The birthers who are left disbelieving this are the kind of people who need to touch a stove multiple times to figure out its hot.
