On a different note. I heard on the radio this morning that the Mass house passed a bill that food stamps debit cards could not be used to buy tobacco or alcohol.

Right. So all they need to do is to go to an ATM and make a cash withdrawal. Or continue selling the debit cards for cash; same as what they used to do when they got actual food stamps and used to sell those as well for fify cents on the dollar.
Again, more political theater.
