What you apparently r3egard as "the realm of reality" suggests a need for reality therapy.
Our military is out of control, which is why Paul votes the way he does. 70% of the EARTHS military spending is done by the U.S., which makes zero sense. We need a military big enough to protect our shores, and not much over that. We can no longer afford to be the world police.
As for the gay thing, I’m not a big fan of that segment of our population, but there’s not a lot in the Constitution about them, which could be why he feels the way he does. I don’t know why he votes the way he does on this issue.
As for the turbanheads, I agree with him. Let them do what they do, over there, it’s none of our business. We have already proven we are inept at stopping them. Other countries don’t do squat about them, but they whine for us to help them (since we have an unlimited supply of soldiers and money).
Racists follow Paul? Racists follow Obama, and Palin, and everyone else too. Paul’s overwhelming theme, always, is to follow the Constitution. I find little wrong with that. If we had been doing that over the past 100 years or so, we wouldn’t be broke and our taxes would be about half of what they are now.
