“So the doctor who delivered him is dead.

The grandmother from Hawaii who stated barry was born in Kenya is dead.

The grandmother from Kenya who said she witnessed barry being born in Kenya is dead.

Yup, very convenient.”

VERY good observations. Not to start a new conspiracy but even their parents are dead!!!!

So the doctor who delivered him is dead.

going out on a limb, I'm going to guess most doctors who delivered babies in 1961 are dead.

Good heavens, what a bunch of zombies. I really have to quit vacationing in Hawaii. Those people over there are hardcore Dembots.

I know this is nothing major but the more stories I hear about his birth the more I wonder why don't more people remember it. A white single woman giving birth to a a black baby couldn't have been common in Hawaii at that time. Nurses, doctors, and administrators would have been buzzing about it for years.

They’ve had several posts the past few months which showed the differences in what they look like. I didn’t save it.

This is a conspiracy thread. Don’t you have anything better than logic on your side?

Perhaps. But it should be noted that Hawaii, and especially Honolulu, had and has very high multi-race people. Today, Hawaii dominates this demographic, with 21 percent of the population of two or more races. Honolulu is the most "diverse" (their word) city in the US, with almost 15% multi-racial.

Was this the case in 1961? Surely not as high, but high enough that it wouldn't exactly be earth-shattering.

Don’t tell me the widow or someone from Obama hadn’t scoured his records and had a talk with her.

Most of what I have seen is that he was not born in U.S.

The whole “natural born citizenship” whatever that means is not settled law. You could argue that John McCain is not a “natural born” U.S. citizen a lot easier than Barrack Obama who was in fact born on U.S. soil.

I think this b.c. has been a red herring from day one to keep the conspiracy folks preoccupied. Anymore time spent on this issue and you will look like a “truther”

This only adds to the mystery. How could the family not know that their father delivered Obama? According to an account Dr. West remembered Obama’s name when he was born because of its musical sound, but Sinclair who signed the BC didn’t? Ms. Nelson who gave the interview about Dr. West should be re-interviewed and questioned on her reported facts. Maybe an assignment for Ms. Couric?

I would want to know why or how Stanley Ann gave birth in Kenya. Aren’t pregnant women usually kept off planes in their last trimester?

The Dr. died in 2003. Obama wasn't elected to the U.S. Senate until 2004. In fact Obama really was an unknown until he gave the keynote speech at the DNC in 2004.

Obama would just have been on of the thousands of babies the Dr. delivered.

But why did Dr. West remember him, who according to the BC, wasn’t the doctor who delivered him? Obama and his family were well known before his politics in Hawaii correct? Accounts from the present Hawaiian Governor and Dr. West back that up. And what year was “Dreams From My Father” released?

Here's a weird one for you:

Back in 1983, I went to Salt Lake City to have a birth defect corrected by a pediatric nephrologist. The surgery went wonderfully and I went on to have a normal life.

Years later, I had to get copies of my ancient medical records when they became relevant to a current medical issue. When the hospital sent me the copies from their archives, I noticed the surgeon's name.

I was touched as I remembered the tremendous difference that this man made in my life and, a few years after that, I made the effort to contact the man to thank him for helping me.

So I track down "Dr. Smith" (we'll call him) and finally got his number. Same name, same hospital.

Well, the good dr called me back and when I went on to relate my story and give the spiel about how much I appreciated what he had done, he interrupted me.

He went on to tell me that I was referring to his father, the senior "Dr. Smith". He had followed in his father's footsteps and his father had passed away a few years earlier.

BUT (and here's the weird part) he actually DID remember me! His dad had told the family my story at the dinner table and his son remembered being told about my case. Twenty years after my little operation, I stumbled upon a person who thought it was noteworthy.

This is why I have a hard time swallowing the fact that *nobody* remembers Obama's birth. An unwed 18 year old giving birth to a mixed baby in 1961 Hawaii? And *nobody* though that was odd enough to remember? Really?

My g/f wanted to go to CA for vacation. I vetoed it. Why? It’s bad enough we live in MA, I’m not voluntarily giving more support to “Blue” states.

You bet! I’d like to know if a trust fund was set up for the Sinclair family within the last 3 years.

“Was this doctor present on the island on the date indicated?”

It shouldn’t be that hard to find out...however, I’m sure he was there...just the Titanic made it to NY, intact, back in 1912.
