But there really is a difference in what Trump and Palin are saying. Trump is saying OBAMA is the problem, and Palin is still stuck in "policies" are the problem. People don't want to hear that. They KNOW Obama is responsible and want someone with the cajones to attack HIM, not "his policies" or "the issues."

I think this is a two-step by Palin trying to share in Trump's success without ever having to do the heavy lifting of attacking Obama himself.

We are going to break obama and his manufactured image apart using the truth, where the left uses lies. We are going to do to obama what the left did to Bush... but we are going to use the truth with which to do it.

What a load of crap! Sarah Palin has been doing the heavy lifting against Obama for two and half years. where has Trump been? How many conservative candidates did he help in the 2010 midterms?

Furthermore, poll after poll after poll shows that the majority of voters like Obama personally, but they are overwhelmingly opposed to his policies. Swing voters especially are turned off by personal attacks.

You won’t beat the man in 2012 by attacking him personally, but you can beat him by attacking his policies. Voters realize that his policies are making their own lives more difficult.

Asking voters if they are better off now than they were four years ago is how you get the Obamunist out of office. You won’t get him out by attacking his pastor, his radical associates, his socialist past, etc. That was tried in 2008 and it didn’t work.

Policies are the problem. One can say that Obama’s character is behind the policies, but his decisions, not his character, directly relate to the policies. Sarah regularly says she’s attacking Obama’s bad decisions, not his character.
