Power started coming back on in most parts of Columbus at about 8:30. Hats off to the folks from TVA. Their estimates were that it would be “at least” tomorrow before we started getting power.

It is just unbelievable how these storms bounced all around Columbus today. Just a little north of us they are saying that 80% of the town of Smithville was destroyed. The tornado that hit Tuscaloosa AL is being reported as being a mile wide and an F5.

I saw the video of that one in Tuscaloosa—it looked like a doozy! Glad they got your power back up. Stay safe.
