THe church has been decorated with live trees which are to be planted in gardens/parks later.... Will one be planted near Dianne’s grave?

Doubt anyone in the royal family is permitted near the Spencer family estate.

Wills and Kate took a trip there this week. They spent some time there alone. I would think since they have tried to include Dianne in their plans (engagement ring) that planting a tree from the ceremony near her internment would be very much in the nature of their show of affection for her.

For being a true redneck lakerat, mine’s pretty spiffy: Lady Hazel Winston of Hiram Clark.

I honestly don’t deserve my heritage.

I picked up a book on Dianne from a marked down book bin. (Never was much a fan after the divorce, but it was cheap) Started reading it on rainy Saturday afternoon. Finished it late that night laying it on the floor next to my chair. I woke in the morning and switched on the TV. Dianna had died as I read.

Got your royal name yet?

Take the first name of either granddad/mom, name of your first pet, name of street you grew up on....preface with Lord or Lady.

The Duchess Horse Face of Tampon was noticeably under dressed, only woman pictured to wear a cocktail dress ... must not have received the royal memo.

In contrast:

Rumor has it she may wear the diamond and sapphire necklace given by a Saudi prince to Diana, which she wore at her wedding.

Her tiara belonged to the Spencer family. Since Kate's family is not royal you may be right. I'm sure the SPencers would loan it to her....OTOH heard on TV that she may opt not to wear one until after she is married. Could he place one on her head as part of the ceremony?

Something old

(not sure of something new: a new blue diamond wedding ring?)

Something borrowed, not too sure about that either (probably mom's earrings?) but something blue might be

The Household Cavalry will escort the royal couple to and from the Abbey, and in the day's processions.

The Household Cavalry consists of The Life Guards and The Blues and Royals (Royal Horse Guards and 1st Royal Dragoons). They are the most senior regiments in the British Army and are split between two different units equipped to perform two quite different roles.

The Household Cavalry Regiment has an operational role in armoured fighting vehicles which has seen them at the forefront of Britain’s military operations including the Falklands (1982), the Gulf (1990) and most recently Bosnia, Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan.

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment is equipped with horses. It is their unique privilege to meet the requirement to carry out mounted and some dismounted ceremonial duties on State and Royal occasions which include the provision of a Sovereign's Escort most commonly seen at the Queen’s Birthday Parade in June each year. Other occasions include Sovereign’s Escorts for Her Majesty The Queen during State Visits by visiting Heads of State, and as required by Her Majesty anywhere in the Kingdom.

Although the Household Cavalry was ordered to reduce by one Regiment in 1992, the Army Board directed that The Life Guards and The Blues and Royals were to retain their individual identities; as a result of this there was no amalgamation but a Union of the two Regiments.
