All of the big Walmart stores here in Mobile, Al. sell guns and ammo. I bought a 10/22 there a couple months ago, and bought 400 round of .223 last week (why did I buy 400 rounds? Because that’s all they had). You may be able to find a lower price on ammo on the net, but not cheap enough to get past the ease of buying and walking out with it (unless your’re buying very large quantities).
Me Walmart in Central Texas never stopped selling guns or ammo either. It does seem like they cut down a bit though.
