Funny how the Dems accused Bush of building the economy on minimum wage jobs. Now people are fighting for those under a Dem president. Well done.

What happened to the “worthless burger flipper” scenario, created by the MSM, during the Bush years?

What happened to the worthless burger flipper scenario, created by the MSM, during the Bush years? To be precise, the term "McJobs" was coined.
Funny, I haven't heard anyone in the MSM use the term "McJobs" since, oh say, around late 2008.
What's funnier is that not only do we have an assload of "McJobs" being filled (while unemployment breaks records) but according to this article, nearly 1,000,000 people were turned away from them.

Wow!
I bet some blood sucking lawyer is looking into the 938,000 that didn’t get hired to find some thread of commonality and a basis for a class action suit!
lol (sadly, this is probably true)

Too bad we can’t make all these grads of the elite Ivy League colleges spend a year working as a “burger flipper”, then a year as the manager of an inner city fast food restaurant.
In fact, it would be great if we could make all in Congress, including staffers, do the same. After that, all the lawyers & bureaucrats in the Administration’s departments and czars staffs. Better yet, make all the agency bureaucrats work a year at an entry level job , then as a middle manager in one of the industries that they regulate.

Burger King has been cutting back I hear, so sorry about those layoffs.Probably because Burger Kings menu abolutely sucks anymore.
We have a BK and a McD opposite each other. Anytime of the day, especially mornings, BK empty, McD's packed.
