Now that Barack Obama has finally released his long-form birth certificate, the controversy is over. Right?
That's the news media's unanimous opinion.
Within minutes, perhaps seconds, of receiving the handout from the White House, our vigilant press watchdogs were busy attacking people like me and Donald Trump for even raising the issue of constitutional eligibility and proclaiming Obama meets all the requirements of the presidency.
Let me be the first to suggest the document Obama released demonstrates just the opposite – and raises far more questions than it answers.
For me, the release was not unexpected. For about two or three weeks, Jerome Corsi, author of the upcoming and already best-selling book, "Where's the Birth Certificate?," and I have been discussing our mutual expectation that Obama was going to be forced to act. Between the unprecedented success of the book in pre-sales, polls showing most Americans not believing Obama's birth narrative and Donald Trump's megaphone, he had no choice.
Obama recognized he was losing the battle for public opinion.
There's not a doubt in my mind that his central focus was to pull the rug out from under Corsi's book – which promises (and delivers, by the way) to prove Obama is ineligible for the presidency.

Can’t wait to see the Obama adoption documents that Joe Farah must have.
My guess is he is hiding the Obama adoption documents in the very same place where he saw that pterodactyl.

I dunno. As much as I respect Farah for keeping on this issue, right now I am beginning to wonder if he’s just trying to keep the heat on so the book sales don’t falter.
I hope I’m wrong and there is more to it than that.
I gave myself a migraine headache studying into this. It isn't cut and dry. It seems as if it comes down to a natural law versus common law argument. natural law states that his father's citizenship is conferred; whereas English common law, (the law of the monarchy) states that citizenship is a matter of where you born, not who you were born to. The problem with this is that A.) our nation is founded on both natural law and common law and B.) English naturalization law would have conferred British nationality onto the child of one of its subjects regardless of where he/she was born as the king has always decreed that children born of British subjects in foreign lands are British which makes for a predicament here as both countries appear to have a claim. Then there's the odd matter of Barack Obama sr. having another wife and child back in Kenya which also adds a wrinkle. personally, I think the guy is about as American as a burka; but, sadly, there's what you know and what you can prove.
I am completely confident that if the matter ever makes it the US Supreme Court, he would have to be found ineligible because of the issues relating to his father’s Kenyan citizenship and the age of his mother at the time.
Not that I ever expect it to happen soon, however. The USSC is scared to death of this issue and does not want to touch it. After all the crap they had to endure following the Florida recount, who can blame them? A judgment against Obama would be a thousand times worse.
Still, I expect they are eventually going to be forced to address it. Someone is going to make it necessary.
The Founding Fathers put that “natural born citizen” clause in the Constitution for a reason. Obama proves just how prescient they were.
They are more concerned about the fallout of removing the first black president than they are of enforcing the rule of law.
It is up to the people.
If you voted for Obama in 2008 to prove you are not a racist, you will need to vote for someone else in 2012 to prove you are not an idiot.

It's worse than they could have imagined. Obama not only has "divided loyalty", but his preferred loyalty is to what he IMAGINES his fathers values were, not to anything in the real world. Not that his father's values were anything to write home about. The point raised elsewhere is that Obama's "principle hate" is for countries that he perceives to be colonialist, which is, first and foremost, Great Britain, but, due to his leftist-think, includes the USA.
Also, the release was perfectly timed to coincide with the “royal wedding” which will consume the press coverage all weekend.....

When I was in High School we had an affirmative action hire vice principal who was tasked with the job of telling a particular athlete that due to poor grades he was no longer eligible for spring sports.
To accomplish this, he decided to read him the official letter, but when he got to “Ineligible” he pronounced it “IN-EL-UH-GEE-BLEH”.
It held a particular irony at the time - and holds true to this day with president teleprompter.
It seems to me that Trump is still the key. The courts have been ducking this issue, using 'standing' as a shield to fend off any and all efforts to press them into examining Obama's NBC bone fides.
Trump can pierce the 'standing' shield. He has the temperament and the money. He just needs to carry his campaign far enough that he has standing. What that point is, I'm not sure. Probably once he's an official candidate, nominated by a party, or running officially as an independent.

Valarie Jarrett has announced that he will be releasing his college transcrpts....as soon as they can finish the final touchups. And now we will be able to see his brilliance that Jarrett sees, and we can now concentrate on more important things like killing the rest of the nation
Lets just say...that if this were Bush...we’dve all been treated to 3-4 one hour long MSM “specials” about the
“serious questions” this “document come lately” raises about the Constitutional qualifications of the sitting president....
His problem is that all his LEGAL documents refer to him by his adopted name and his citizenship as Indonesian.
My guess is that he neglected to legally regain his US citizenship.
And THAT is a whole 'nuther problem that he will do anything to conceal.
