I paid $4500 for mine but it’s worth every penny. You can buy the same size for half the price but the noise is so loud it will literally drive you crazy. Honda also makes a 3000 watt Inverter for half that and that will run all your major appliances. I wanted to be able to run everything including the Sub Zero and Plasma so I got the bigger one.
After you pony up the big bucks you should install a transfer switch , it’s plug and go instead of a bunch of extension cords going everywhere and you don’t have to pull the refrigerator out to plug it in.

Our local electronic company has been trying to get folks to put in smart meters, which means they can shut off the A/C anytime they want.
That is the stupidist thing I’ve ever heard AND is dangerous for many people.
