We conservatives have no more power to stop a second civil war than we did to stop the war on Muslin terrorism. You cannot stop conflict when you’re already being attacked. What “is”...”IS”...
“If you try to take our firearms, we will kill you.”

Just watched V for Vengeance for about the twentieth time. Although it portrays the Conservatives as the evil ones; it still, in Hollywoods simplistic way, the power of the individual.
I find that to be an interesting move also.
Setting aside the window dressing of Hollywood trying to demonize Conservatives once again, consider how much the villains resemble the Left of today.
Their tactics and actions are much more indicative of the Left than of the right.
The problem with this type of thinking is that despite a lot of blustery talk, who would know who to shoot? There are no clear boundaries, no enemy territory. You certainly can’t separate them as blue state/red state, as often the difference between them is just a few percentage points.
On the old Townhall forum, there was a nutbag who talked about dragging liberal soccer mom’s out of SUV’s and ending them on the spot, and that’s obviously not the answer even if soccer were truly a fair test of liberalism, which it is not.
So far, I’ve yet to see a decent explanation of who would be the targets in this civil war that some claim that they want.
Vendetta man, Vendetta not vengeance.
The media useful idiots will be the first to go, I’ll bet.
The real question is, how many will take a stand? I fear, not enough.

“Unintended Consequences” by John Ross is an interesting book.
I just don’t see anything happening anytime soon. Sure we get upset, but thats bc we follow what’s going on. The left has refined their destruction skills to perfection. It’s never one big event. It’s small events that get absolutely no coverage. 75% of America doesn’t even know what’s going on. So any uprising would be squashed and reported as the lunatic fringe.
Then on the other side, unless there is a massive shift in ideology, Congress will never strip welfare and other expenditures like it. They should, but they won’t.
Maybe I’m wrong, but I just don’t see it happening any time soon.
Over a thousand people showed up in Roswell, NM last night to protest some damn lizzard, that the EPA wants to call endangered and use to stop drilling.
2 weeks ago in the Gila over a thousand showed up to protest against closing roads in the national parks.........people have had enough and out here they are armed.
Sure, more sports and more.
Keep ‘em diverted and thinking like 15-year-olds.
My daughter and brother whose forced relationship with unions will not see them taking up arms to defend them, nor do they support their tactics. There are many Americans that hate the unions but must belong to one in order to keep their job.
Here's a hint: Random foot soldier and soccer moms ain't it.
IF there were a second civil war, it would be nothing by the first. It will not be brother shooting at brother or a fight for territory. Instead it will be a war of boycott, strike, economic ‘hacking’, and message manipulation. You will see an economic war where a ‘black market’ economy wages war against the economic players who still give into the greater and greater burden. You will have the producers ‘drop out’ of the system and only work with each other, not contributing back to the system. It will be a ‘Cold War’, not a hot war.
But, I don’t think there will be anything like it. As soon as things get heated, the masses will be appeased with a new season of American Idol and those who are more prone to action will be kept busy surviving- paying bills, taking care of their family, and chasing rabbits of conspiracies they think are important but really keeps them distracted.
There are many union member sunhappily forced into that role. But the “true believers” in the union mob are just a hair’s breadth away from converting their thuggish tactics into real violence. Scott Walker’s plan to remove the union boot from the necks of public workers is our best hope at averting that prospect.
I believe the Obamunists, especially people like Holder and other radicals Obama has installed as his henchmen, would love to see an uprising against government policy, and in fact are no doubt prepared for it if not actively trying to promote it.
They would be thrilled to have a reason to bring the military and police might of the government down on non-liberals.
You can bet that they already have a plan to wrap up the “”Bitter Clingers”, Preppers, Militias and the Tea Party.
They will confiscate weapons, shut down gun and ammo sales and take control of the energy and food industries. They will see that government money and power are used to favor their supporters and punish their detractors.
At the first sign of organized rebellion Obama would declare an economic and military emergency, postpone elections and use the situation to wipe out his critics and complete his socialization and nationalization of the country.
Remember their motto:
“You don’t ever want a crisis to go to waste; it’s an opportunity to do important things that you would otherwise avoid.”
Is it ironic that most of the left is on the wrong side of all those issues?
I see a little cross over on each, but generally the lefties I know are on the wrong side of each of them or 2 out of 3.
