NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- CNN said Friday that it has hired CNBC's Erin Burnett to serve as an anchor and chief business and economics correspondent.

Burnett will anchor a weekday general news program, as well as contribute to CNN's coverage of national and international breaking news, out of the cable network's New York headquarters. She starts in June and the show will launch this summer. The network has yet to announce the time slot.

The most entertaining part of CNBC that doesn’t involve cleavage is watching Steve Liesman give his spin on economic numbers... and then watching Santelli take it apart from the pits in Chicago.

Santelli is great.

Joe Kernan socks it to Liesman too — nice to see.

Santelli is the greatest. Wait a minute. The Great Santelli! Maybe that should be his moniker.

>>>She was the “money honey” on CNBC — what will she be on CNN? The Obama mama?

No. The “Money Honey” monicker has been Maria Bartiromo’s for years.

>>>The worst Obama Administration sycophant is Steve Liesman, the chief economics correspondent. He is also insufferable as he deems himself as important as, and often smarter than, the people he covers. His arrogance is up there with Obozo’s.

Understatements.

Amen and God Bless both of you!

The worst Obama Administration sycophant is Steve Liesman, the chief economics correspondent. He is also insufferable as he deems himself as important as, and often smarter than, the people he covers. His arrogance is up there with Obozo’s. He’s the biggest Keynesian on the planet — more than even Paul Krugman, the emotionally retarded columnist for the New York Times.

The most entertaining part of CNBC that doesn’t involve cleavage is watching Steve Liesman give his spin on economic numbers... and then watching Santelli take it apart from the pits in Chicago. Santelli is great.

Problem: CNN has determined that it has a shortage of on-air airheads.

Solution: CNN hires Erin Burnett.

Problem solved.

I miss the bad movies on SyFy. There, I said it in public!

Otherwise, good riddance.

Mark Haynes died a few weeks ago, so he won’t be going anywhere anytime soon. CNBC did a non-stop full day coverage of him and his untimely demise the day after it happened.

Her nose got a little smaller in the past year, to meet your requirements.
