As a Sarah Palin supporter, I've never been a big fan of Donald Trump and was suspicious of his 'conversion' into a Republican conservative - but I'm changing my view of the man. I still don't want him to run for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination (and don't believe he will) and I still think he has serious flaws but like most FReepers, I like the way he stands up to Obama and his media punks. If Trump is hacking a path for Palin to follow, consciously or not, I admire that. We already know that Sarah Palin is an enemy of the GOP beltway elites (like Rove). She knows it, too and will act accordingly.
This primary and election cycle is not only crucial to America but it will be full of surprises. The emergence of Donald Trump as a political figure being just one of many. I can't wait for whats coming, although I know the media will go full-bore after Trump, Palin and any serious conservative. The GOP elites want a nice, polite, predictable RINO to lose gracefully to Obama. Not this time. There is far too much at stake for conservatives to sit back, gripe, hold our collective noses and vote for yet another DNC/RNC-approved RINO. Never again.
RINOs are simply democrat-lite candidates (and a tested-recipe for GOP failure).
