I don’t know if they are trolls. I think they are mostly just well-meaning people who think that as citizens we OWE loyalty to our “leaders,” no matter how corrupt and dishonest and no matter what kind of mess they have made of our nation’s economy.

And just accept WH press releases at face value. It is the “patriotic” thing to do.

That’s why they say that “patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel.” Because it exploits exactly those impulses by the citizenry.

Pu-leeze! Respect the office of the presidency? You bet! Enough to want to replace its occupant REAL BAD!

agreed.

It does not make sense to me what so ever.
We know where he is but not his number two.
Surely even for the most ardent lefty would it not be better to take them both out at the same time.
To risk lives going in but then shoot to the head when we could have used a drone?
TO RESPECT HIS RELIGION??? Now if true then that would have come from the white house.

I don’t know , he possible is dead so not qualms from me on that but there are many questions right now from a military and law enforcement side.

I have no problem respecting anyone's religion. Even if I disagree with it, and even if they'd refuse me the same courtesy in other countries.

However, that doesn't mean I shut my brain down whenever the President says, "Be Happy!", or "Arugula," or makes Trump jokes.

Whether or not it's true, the story appears somewhat concocted with elements for distraction, especially for those who keep hoping for the best, despite the evidence that Barry is a liar with a red-diaper past and who-in-the-world knows where his loyalties lie and who parties with heads of multi-nationals in Rio and golfs all the time.

A. If you express any doubt about the death of OBL or the method of dealing with it, you are seen as attacking our Seals or our military servicemembers.

B. Saying they hid behind women - makes you say, "ah told you so" and make bacon jokes. Great fodder for the mind to distract from say, a highly weird burial-at-sea.

C. Shrine-building? Wouldn't that just make an excellent piece of fly-paper? Isn't that why we invaded Iraq and Afghanistan? To create "flypaper" for the bad guys, instead of having them attack the US at home? That's what I was told. So, to magically say, "we didn't want to have a shrine" as an excuse to dump a body into the sea, seems strange.

Just sayin'.
