Rep. Gary Ackerman (D-NY) says the death of Osama bin Laden puts President Obama in a "political position that makes him the Commander-in-Chief of an almost flawless mission of monumental proportion that have unbelievable ramifications."

Can we call Obama a war criminal now?
UHHHHH???? Where is the barf alert?? I think I’m gonna be sick!
To be logically consistent, the 911 Truthers should be condemning the murder of an innocent man.
He acts as if Obama planned and implemented the whole thing.
I forget. Is Ack!erman one of the RATS who lined up to warn President Bush against targeting bin Laden for assassination?
when was the last time you, Obama or anyone in the Democratic party even mentioned OBL? This is a great event, but the left never fails to over-hype. This changes almost nothing, other than an emotional lift and an important closure for our country and the families of 9/11 victims and military who have sacrificed. When we wake up tomorrow, the threat of militant islamists is just as high, and frankly will probably be increased for a time because of this event.
I know they are going to push this as an Obama victory, but I think it will be a big So What.
Rep. Gary Ackerman (D-NY) is going to invite retaliation by Al Qaeda is he continues to use this for political gain in public.
He’ll get a big bump out of this, to be sure. But this election will be about the economy, not the war on terror.
Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t think any of Obama’s economic policies have worked.
I expect nothing less from Ackerman. He’s a classless, boorish excuse for a human being. A sad waste of platelets.

I was directing my comment at Ackermann, not you. I neglected to say that in the first message.
When did Dummycrats ever care about the military? Check out the DU and you’ll find out: they are not happy he died, believe me.
Aw...have a heart. As soon as folks start connecting the dots of what he's done between last August (when he learned where OBL was) and now, he'll be toast.
HAHAHAHA. Nice spin their Rat. How about dithering backing the Iranian uprising? The mission creep in Libya? How about the loss of Egypt to the radical muslims? One victory like this does not make this loser in the WH any better equipped to handle situations than before.
what are some examples of their comments? I don’t want to go over there, I quit DU voyeurism years ago to keep my blood pressure in check.
This is revolting. When GWB was President, the media beat the bodycount drum relentlessly, and once Obama took over they all of a sudden lost interest in pushing casualty stories.
Now the golfer in chief doesn’t say “Nope” when the military tells him they have a shot at Bin Laden, and he’s the greatest military genius to occupy the White House since Eisenhower?
It would take a special kind of turd in the punchbowl to take the smile off my face on the night we learn that Bin Laden been blasted to Hell, and I think Gary Ackerman just did a swan dive that barely missed the ladle. Yuck
Unfortunately for the country, Jim Jones' America put a far more dangerous enemy than OBL in the White House. A Marxist muslim America-Hating faggot illegal alien bent on destroying America as we know it.
A little hard to celebrate when the real enemy is not only within but in the highest office in the land.
What does it say about President Clinton? He let Osama go?
It now sounds like the CIA knew of the al Queda courier back in 2007 - under Bush’s presidency and ran it to ground. We will learn more but let’s wait before we hand out credit.
Obama did order the attack, which was successful. That puts him above Jimmy Carter, which is a very low hurdle.
I’m sure Bush didn’t fantasize about respecting UBL’s remains.
