Meanwhile in the US there are lunatic recent arrivals who think those of greek descent should just “dump money” into the greek ecconomy. Why? to save the politicians who pocketed all the aid money in the fist place?

The smart money is betting on the USA.

Guess the Dermans and French will have to pony up more to bail out the PIGGS now.

Finland’s Bailout Blues Cast Pall Over Euro Zone
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748703518704576258680067060242.html

HELSINKI—The euro zone’s attempts to reassure bond investors that it can fix its debt problems may be derailed Sunday when Finns go to the polls to elect a new government.

According to recent opinion polls, voter support for the nationalist True Finns Party has soared in recent months, partly in response to dissatisfaction with the fact that taxpayers in this most northern of the euro zone’s 17 members have been asked to bail out Greece, Ireland and Portugal at the same time as welfare benefits are being cut at home.

The True Finns oppose any aid to fellow euro-zone members, and may be part of a new coalition government, most likely alongside the National Coalition Party and the Center Party—both of which are part of the current government.

“The True Finns will not participate in a coalition government with any party ready to give further loan guarantees,” Vice Chairman Vesa-Matti Saarakkala said.

Anger begins to infect Europe’s prosperous core

Now, anger is beginning to infect Europe’s prosperous core, where mainstream parties are losing ground to populist outsiders playing on resentment and frustration triggered by austerity and falling living standards

Rise of Populist Parties Pushes Europe to the Right
European TEA PARTY
http://www.spiegel.de/international/europe/0,1518,758883,00.html

The successes of right-wing populists could indeed exacerbate the smoldering euro crisis. Tensions between the wealthy countries in the north, who are contributing most to the bailouts, and the ailing debtor nations in the periphery already threaten to destroy the monetary union. If a European version of the American TEA PARTY movement develops, it could very well become the kiss of death for the euro.

... against bailouts .... seems to be a trend or something.
Maybe our own Tea Party movement could get back on track?

... against bailouts
... against huge centralized government

This seems to resonate with a lot of people. Maybe a good thing to focus on to win election?

YLE News
Political parties have begun revealing their views on the next government's programme to the leader of coalition negotiations, Jyrki Katainen. The True Finns Party has already said that it cannot in good conscience support the Portugal rescue package or the creation of a permanent bailout fund, while SDP would want the rules for the international financial system reformed.

The True Finns also oppose increasing Finland's responsibilities in the European Stability Mechanism.

“Unfortunately we do not believe in the sustainability or the fairness of the measures adopted until now,” the answer reads.

The True Finns announce that they are ready to participate in negotiations for a National Coalition-led majority government on the basis of the election’s results.
