SB590 passed the House 68-30.
A few minutes ago, it passed the Senate 35-15.
Next stop…Gov. Daniels’ desk!

I don’t know the rules in Indiana but it sure looks like they’d have the numbers to override a veto.
A veto would mean it would have to wait until the next session.
Seems to me that this bill has too much of a social element to it...not Mitch’s cup of tea.
If Mitch wants ANY chance in the Republican primaries, it doesn’t matter what he wants. This is a golden opportunity for him going in the primaries. He can say he defunded Planned Parenthood and made Indiana a non-haven for illegals.
His political actions mean more than any speech. (cough, Obama)
