Osama Bin Laden Dead…10 Years Ago?
Red Pill Nation ^ | May 2nd, 2011 | JUSTIN KOLOMPAR

The United States military is claiming that they have killed the world’s top terrorist in Abbottabad, Pakistan. This news has been met with much skepticism, however, as it is widely believed that the real Osama bin Laden died in December 2001.

After decades of frivolously meandering around the Middle East in a “hunt” for Osama bin Laden, the United States military claims to have killed the world’s most wanted fugitive inside a million-dollar compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan yesterday. There have been no pictures released yet and bin Laden’s body was reportedly “buried at sea”. Was that the real Osama bin Laden, or is this a fabricated news story being used to create a pretext for military action against Pakistan?

In early December 2001, the Pakistan Observer reported on bin Laden’s death – due to untreated health problems – citing al-Qaeda and Taliban officials who claimed to have attended the funeral service. “The Coalition troops are engaged in a mad search operation but they would never be able to fulfill their cherished goal of getting Osama alive or dead,” a source said at the time. Bin Laden was allegedly buried in the vicinity of Tora Bora, along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border. In a July 2002 New York Times opinion piece, Amir Taheri wrote:

Osama bin Laden is dead. The news first came from sources in Afghanistan and Pakistan almost six months ago: the fugitive died in December and was buried in the mountains of southeast Afghanistan. Pakistan’s president, Pervez Musharraf, echoed the information. The remnants of Osama’s gang, however, have mostly stayed silent, either to keep Osama’s ghost alive or because they have no means of communication.

With an ego the size of Mount Everest, Osama bin Laden would not have remained silent for so long if he were still alive.

If this was anyone but Osama, uhhh, Obama, I would believe this. So far I haven’t seen a photo of the dead Osama. Photos of a tall, slender, gaunt, 50 something weasel should help.

So, we're supposed to think al Qaeda and the ISI aren't also engaging in misinformation?

With an ego the size of Mount Everest, Osama bin Laden would not have remained silent for so long if he were still alive.

He wasn't silent. He released messages time and time again, referencing events that had occurred long after 2001.

“was he on ice until Obama needed him for re-election?”

It would not be the first time doing the right thing was put off until election season.

From my point of veiw getting Osama just moves him up to being tied with Carter for the “Worst POTUS Ever” prize. He’s dug himself quite a hole with all his leftist annoyances and it’s going to take more than that to dig himself out.

How does anyone know it was actually Osama making the quotes? Were they from video/audio tapes?

Osama was more useful to us as a bogeyman to be trotted out whenever we needed the military to take some kind of action somewhere.

It would be like this president to waste a vital asset like that for his own personal gain.

I always thought they got him in Tora Bora.

"was he on ice until Obama needed him for re-election?"

There is really no way to know. Every time I have attended an event that was subsequently described by the media I have been amazed at either the journalistic incompetence or the duplicity of the report. Without a lot more evidence I am not even willing to rule out the possibility that the whole story is just an elaborate ruse.

Was it "Stranger in a Strange Land" that introduced the "Fair Witness"?

Ha ha ha, I didn’t realize that until you pointed it out - the description fits both of them.

I will believe it when I see his body wrapped in strips of bacon and shoved off the hot deck with pitch forks.

I think if that was the case Obama would have had the Pakistanis keep him on ice until late summer, early fall 2012. The way it is now Obamas “dead Bin-Ladin bounce” will last until mid-summer if he’s lucky. (Bin-Ladin’s corpse will only cover up $4+ a gallon gas and a crappy economy for so long...)

That’s what I thought.

But his last video was around 6 years ago and he looked like death warmed over, and what appeared to be useless arm.

Everything else since had been audio “believed to be” Bin Laden.

Now knowing he had a courier, why didn’t he send out more videos? Surely, a tape here or there in the last few years would have been a nice moral boost for Al-Q

the Pakistan Observer reported on bin Laden’s death...

The Pakistan Observer... even editors at Debka roll their eyes at that as a 'believable source'.

For what it’s worth (link via the Serbian blogosphere, http://de-construct.net):

I don’t know whether I should believe obama’s story, this link, or anything else about Bin Laden.

I DO believe that Al Qaeda and the other jihadi organizations will probably attack us, at home and/or abroad, which ever of these stories are true.
