He captured some Muslems, shot most of them, had their bodies wrapped in pig skins, turned the Muslim witnesses he’d kept alive loose to go tell their leaders what had happened, and there was very little “Moro Insurrection” to deal with after that.

Kirk said something I agree with? Well I suppose even a blind squirrel finds a nut from time to time. This the one part of the operation I think they handled poorly, getting rid of the body ASAP after they gave Osama a dirt nap. We've already had months of truthers and birthers, now we're going to end up with a new crop of "deathers" who claim Osama is still breathing and the government faked his execution. That lunatic Cindy Sheehan is already fanning the flames. Should have shown his body to the U.S. public so they'd have more to go on than just Obama and the media's word. It would have been therapeutic for the 9/11 victims to see for themselves that this evil bastard got his just desserts.

Dang, I knew Kirk would have to throw something in there I don't agree with! There's always a "But..." added into his speech when Kirk says something decent. No way should we have buried him at sea. Now there's NO body, so even with the most accurate photographs you're going to have some tin foil hats say it was photoshopped. And since when was burial at sea typical of Islamic funerals if you're burying him according to "Islamic law"? Muslims follow the same abrahamic rules found in Christianity: they want to be buried in the ground so their bodies can be resurrected physically for the second coming. Islam tradition says they should be buried in a grave, aligned perpendicular to face Mecca. The body is placed in the grave without a casket, lying on its right side. As in Christianity, burial at sea is only done if the Muslim dies aboard a ship on the ocean, and there is a fear of the decay of the body. This was stupid and raises questions about why the government wanted to get rid of the body so quickly. Furthermore, this scumbag deserved NO respect to have a "proper" Muslim burial with being washed, wrapped in a sheet, and given a prayer service. WTH? It's not like they were going to hand him over to one of his 50 siblings so they could have a family funeral service. Osama bin Laden is a evil criminal who commited genocide against thousands, he doesn't deserve a dignified burial anymore than Hitler does.
