VAN SUSTEREN: Does the president get high marks?
MCCAIN: The president gets high marks. And obviously the president was heavily engaged and the president, Leon Panetta and Secretary Gates and everybody all the way on down. And everything didn't go as planned in that operation but they adjusted and it is an amazing accomplishment.

It’s BUTT KISSIN TIME!!
ALL the politicians are trying to ride the wave!
We were all waiting for the McCain statement.
The SEALS deserve the credit not the administration.
Yes Obama did good for one day. However, why does McCain have to say anything at all. It is one thing for us to discuss here what Obama did or didn’t do for Osama (some think he did good and some think he did bad). But we are not politicians and we are not going to sell stories. He should have kept his mouth shut regardless of his personal feelings.
Yes of course, keep sending them billions while they can splurge hard cash on Chinese weaponry and build their nuclear capability. Not to mention that the US economy can barely afford it.
McCain never misses a chance to praise the USA’s domestic enemies - the Rats.
Herman Cain had no problem praising the OBL kill while leaving the kenyan out of it. It was the Seals that killed him. Doofus was advised to say “yes” for re-election purposes.
McKennedy shows his boundless stupidity once again.
It is when I read/watch stuff like this that my opinion of the GOP sinks even lower than it is now.
The mind boggles to think of how McCain would have handled this situation.
Maybe one day McCain will reach across the aisle to the Republicans.
Doesn’t all the financial help we give them have to be spent on US goods or services?
Just curious, I thought that was the only way we allowed money like that to be given except for humanitarian reasons. (I still don’t condone it though)
I guess McCain kind of has to say this, considering the fact that Bin Laden was ultimately located using the very interrogation techniques he, along with Obama, condemned.
If you want to spend American money on American goods, spend it on the US military.
My simple knowledge of economics tells me that US military aid to Pakistan frees up funding for buying from China.
Someone should ask McCain why we should stand with Pakistan, which has sheltered our so-called enemy for several years? If that isn’t the act of an enemy, I don’t know what is.
McCain would have sent in a chopper full of therapists to see if they could ‘just sit down and reason’ with Osama.
Nothing new hear. McCain is still an opportunistic dope.
Why doesn’t McCain just switch parties now and stop embarrassing the Republican party.
AAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH
