HONOLULU — A longtime friend and golfing buddy of President Barack Obama pleaded no contest on Monday to a misdemeanor charge of soliciting a prostitute in Hawaii but was given a chance to expunge the case from his record.
The plea of no contest was entered on behalf of Robert "Bobby" Titcomb, 49, by his lawyer in a Honolulu courtroom, but the judge granted a defense request for what is called a deferral of judgment.

What a waste of resources for the police. Why can’t people purchase what they want. I mean as long as it is not underage who cares. We are trying to get rid of government in our lives. Well here is one example right here. I am sure that I will be blasted by such a suggestion because even conservatives LOVE their big bloated government when convenient and is acceptable. lol.

Depends on how you define the role of the police. If you define it as keep the general populace safe, then you're right - it's a big waste. However, if you define the role of police as looking for people to arrest and make their quotas of potential fine revenue for the state, then they're doing what they're supposed to do.
What an unfortunate last name for this poor confused man.
