Well, you weren't here on FR until 2009 and people were certainly doing their homework here and elsewhere. If you think there is evidence that the newspapers got the announcemnts from the DofH in 1961 please post it. Otherwise, you are speculating without substance. If you have not read ladysforest's blog you should. She's definitely done her homework.

The WhiskeyX label on FR does date from 2009, but that does not represent any earlier participation at FR. Online participation in the political discussions goes back to the days where we used a 110 baud modem to discuss the Carter Administration and his infighting with Teddy Kennedy. Obama came to our attention in 1995, when he became a factor in local politics in Illinois.

Generally speaking, the newspapers I am acquainted with have always posted birth, marriage, and death announcments obtained from the local governments in addition to those contributed by family members. Consequently, that is one of the first sources I checked in 2007 with telephone calls to the Iniversity of Hawaii and the Hawaiian newspapers. It was later confirmed by the newspapers, with for one example: "Such vital statistics, however, were not sent to the newspapers by the general public but by the Health Department, which received the information directly from hospitals, Okubo said."

"Birth announcements from the public ran elsewhere in both papers and usually included information such as the newborn's name, weight and time of birth."

Hawaii officials confirm Obama’s original birth certificate still exists. By Dan Nakaso, Advertiser Staff Writers; Posted on: Tuesday, July 28, 2009.

http://the.honoluluadvertiser.com/article/2009/Jul/28/ln/hawaii907280345.html

There have been a number of questions raised by various people about the veracity of those responses from the newspapers, but they are currently unpersuasive for a number of reasons, with a few curious exceptions.

I would like to see an explanation for the reason why the publicly available reproductions of the newspapers have scratches in the image from the microfilm copies which do not match as a perso would expect them to appear. While I do not see any reason to doubt that the newspapers were furnished with the vital statistics of the births for publication, such a fact would not automatically preclude tampering using recreations of the microfilm reproductions of the newspapers. It would be really helpful to preclude and setle the questions if someone could come forward with original copies of those nespapers with the birth announcements.

The successes of the 2010 elections would have been impossible without the birthers. Not only can the birthers walk and chew gum at the same time, they can tap dance and do gymnastics and chew gum at the same time!

So?....Don't you think those who want to forget about Obama’s eligibility, and ignore Article 2, Section1, shouldn't **they** stop making enemies of the birthers?

Hm?

Last time I checked the Hawaii State Archive was listed as having paper copies of both the Honolulu Advertiser and the Star-Bulletin. But they claim to not have them now.

A bigger question looms... how in the world have you managed to not visit Colorado, but have encircled it? ; )

Excellent new article about how lack of eligibility affects B.O.’s ability to carry out his role as C-I-C. Those who compartmentalize the eligibility issue and say that it is no longer worthy of discussion are missing the big picture.

Did the U.S. Military Act on its Own Authority to Kill bin Laden?

LCDR Fitzpatrick:

“I believe that Mr. Obama is in descent. I believe that he is on his way out the door. Another aspect to this which is consistent with what I think is going on is that I believe that people in the military know that he’s not going to last very much longer and that he’s not the commander-in-chief. He’s a fake. If they had a shot to take Osama bin Laden and they went to the White House to get permission to do that and the answer came back, “No,” then it was “Excuse me, but you aren’t the head of the ship anymore.”

the Obama BC was supposedly typed in 1961 and had kerning

Unfortunately for the abuse I'll have to take for saying so, the notion that it is kerning is erroneous and a mistake. The overlapping of the letter spacing by the typewriter is ordinary misalignment during advancement of the carriage and platen along the escapement. Also note how the Capital letters are often misaligned in the vertical plane. This is caused by the using the shift key to manually shift the carriage up and down. You can see the same characteristics in the Nordyke birth certificates and any number of old typewritten pages. We used to have the problem with a lot of the old typewriters we used before the advent of personal computers, word processing, and computer printers for them.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I spent my life working in the health field. I hold a doctorate in one of the most competitive health professions.

One of the greatest motivators for excellent performance for a professional is the good opinion of other professionals! It is a source of deep embarrassment when other professionals think badly of their work. The professionals I know and work with strive mightily to perform to the highest standard precisely because they want other professionals to think highly of their performance.

Personally....With regard to Obama’s natural born citizenship, I think the professionalism among the highest military STINKS! By now, only a brain death idiot would think that everything is Ok regarding his eligibility. Anyone with two functioning neurons should recognize that there is likely criminal fraud, lying, deceit, forgery, and cover-up. I bet there are hundreds of lower level officers who believe the same and are wondering about the **professionalism** of the highest military in positions of authority over them!

When did turning a blind eye to forgery, criminal fraud, deceit, and possible usurpation become part of the military code of honor? Huh?

Our nation has 4 balances of power. The 4th is the military and their oath before God to defend the Constitution against **domestic** enemies! They are our last stand before the Second Amendment becomes necessary.

Where is the evidence that our highest military officers peacefully and legally sought certifiable evidence ( **all** of the best evidence) regarding Obama’s eligibility by consulting with congress, the courts, and with Obama himself?

Don't these so-called “professionals” in the highest levels of the military have a duty to the men and women serving under them who are fighting under ridiculous rules of engagement and to the women who now wear HEADSCARVES???? Don't they have a duty to the Constitution, the American people, and to GOD???? Where is their professionalism?

Honestly...I wonder how they can accept the salute of Obama. How can they accept the salute of the men and women ( wearing headscarves) serving under them? Are they embarrassed?

I conclude that while the highest military may be willing to fall on a grenade for their troops in a battle against a foreign enemy, there is no way I would depend on them to defend the Constitution and the American people against a domestic enemy. No way would they ever jeopardize their pensions and perks.

This raises a couple of interesting questions.
If the PDF is of a copy provided by Hawaii, there should be one layer period.

If the "Original" in the Hawaii records has been manipulated, then there will be no end to the uncertainty.

Who?
What?
Where?
and
Why?

1) Continue to defend the Constitution. Continue to point out the forgeries. Continue to point out that Obama’s “evidence” **sucks** and that he is deliberately withholding high quality evidence. In return we must find a way to counter the inevitable attacks from the Obots and media ( even Mark Steyn) that we are “fringers”, “birthers”, and “conspriacy theorists”. We must find a way to counter these attacks because it is a Marxist strategy that really could lose elections for conservatives.

I agree completely.
I do not know where Obama was born. I do not know if his possible foreign or dual citizenship is a factor in the debate. I do not know if the Supreme Court would rule in his favor.

I do know that Pelosi affirmed Obama as qualified to be a presidential candidate on her word alone. I also know that the Founding Fathers never foresaw the necessity of defining a clear unambiguous means of confirming eligibility.
I am sure that "the word" of the Majority Leader in the House is NOT sufficient. Certainly not when the same senile woman has told us that we must allow a Law to pass before knowing what is in it. That is absurd on its face. Certainly unconstitutional and probably criminal.

We have gotten to the point where the "majority" in Congress de facto decides what is Constitutional.
Not the way the checks and balances were set up.

I can address and find solutions to many problems simultaneously.

This is like building a tall structure, and arguing about the carpets and wall colors, and drapes, while ignoring the few yelling at the top of their lungs :

The contractors ****ed up on the foundation!

Claiming other things are exclusively more important merely establishes that as a precedent, foundations no longer count.

As a long term result, that sucks!

“There still has not been any in depth discussion about who this U K L Lee person is.”

Strange as it seems, UKL Lee seems to be a real Hawaiian registrar. The Nordyke BC’s have the same name and similar signature on them.

Nothing gets her more excited than to gather the troops to get users newer than her zotted, even ones who have been here almost 3 yrs.

I totally agree with your choice of Freeper name.

Three whole years, huh?

Fortunately, most Freepers are not dogmatic, politically or socially, but we are all in agreement with the basic philosophy of Jim Robinson, the owner of the site. we accept nothing that is not documented. We fight tooth and nail about opinions, and interpretation of events, seasoned with the growing presence of disrupters with a clear agenda, who are here to disrupt. The bulk of them grouped around the years 2004 and 2006, with the bumper crop in 2005. Many, if not most, are gone. But not all.

They can dissimulate, conceal and disrupt, some more clumsily than others but they all will find themselves on the wrong side of the welcome mat, sooner or later.

The overwhelmingly telltale giveaway of the disruptors is insisting that opinion is argument, ignoring facts; real events that are not subject to interpretation.

I can ignore those, but evidently many Freepers can't. No problem. I can enjoy the train wreck that results as well as the next guy.

But to summarize, arguing that the longevity of members is totally accidental is whistling past the graveyard. Opinion, not facts. those of us who have been engaged in this forum have seen it all in 10 or 12 years...

Good luck to the delusional DU types and the "progressives." You can't fake sanity.
