JAY-TALKING: Heres what you need to know from Tuesdays White House briefing with press secretary Jay Carney:
-- The White House hasnt released the photo of Osama bin Ladens corpse because it is gruesome and could inflame enemies passions, Carney said. We are making an evaluation of a need to do that because of the sensitivities involved, he said.
-- Carney wouldnt even say whether President Obama has seen the photo. I dont want to get into whos seen the photos or where they are, he said.
-- Underscoring the complicated nature of the American teams attack on bin Laden, Carney was caught in a crossfire of his own when he was asked about the number of floors in the compound in Pakistan. Even Im getting confused, Carney said as he looked through his notes.
-- Carney wouldnt say whether bin Ladens sea burial was videotaped, but he urged reporters to be patient..

Translation: The story's changing so quickly to make BHO look better that I can't keep up. Give us few days (or maybe weeks) to get the "correct" story to you.
Or are the members of the WH staff who are also members of the muslim brotherhood (true) giving O a hard time about releasing the pics.
Or perhaps CAIR is threatening to withdraw money from O's campaign coffers if the pics are shown.
It has to be about money or muslim loyalties because it CANNOT be about Americans.
We remember watching people jumping off of the twin towers to their deaths because of the searing heat behind them.
You cannot get more gruesome than that.
You can’t kill Osama Bin Laden and then expect the Jihadi’s to love you. When are these people going to grow up?
Oh, BULL!
Are they serious? Really?? Is This is what they said before the total dump of the Abu Ghraib prison pictures that caused riots around the world?
Really? - Why isn't the GOP calling them out on the hypocrisy that is so thick that one could cut it with a knife.
Really, you need wings to stay above this crap!
I don't know whether Obama would get a thrill from looking at something violent that made him feel sick, or he's not man enough to look. It doesn't matter. The adults made the military decision and after four months got him to go along.
Who needs to see photos of Bin Laden dead when you've seen the live feed of him getting smoked!
Barack Obama watches live feed of Osama bin Laden raid; US didn't tell Pakistan about the raid; questions how he lived 'in plain sight'
And nobody anywhere recorded this historic event? Not the military? Not even the CIA?
That picture would look great if someone can put the Katrina dude in there.
SCREW their sensibilities! I’m sick & tired of all of Western Civilization having to walk on eggshells for fear of “inflaming the Muslim Street.” Geez Louise, has our entire leadership been castrated (well, except for Hillary, of course)?
I’ll tell you what, as a way of helping the families of the victims of 9/11, the Cole bombing, the Kenyan Embassy bombing, and a host of other incidents in which that scumbag was involved, we should PURPOSELY release all photos and video (which don’t compromise our men or methods) with the specific intent of inflaming the Moose Limbs. LET THEM be ticked off - then they’ll know a bit about how we feel. LET THEM rage - what are they going to do, drive aircraft into our skyscrapers and behead our people?
Heck, if I’d have been President, I’d have a film showing the SEALS dipping their bullets in bacon grease, show the scumbag being killed with those same bullets, show his body being dragged, face down, to the chopper and tossed in like a sack of potatoes, show his body being eaten by hungry pigs, and then cremate his head. Let them know that this is the fate that awaits any of them that try anything similar to that scumbag. They don’t like it, they’re invited to stop murdering our people.
