The message in the video was that they didn’t have video feed.
It was also apparently a very fast operation. It sounds to me like our guys didn’t give their guys time to do anything except surrender or die.
And they probably would’ve had to have made up their minds beforehand that they were going to surrender if we stormed in. I don’t think they were allowed a lot of time to stand there and weigh the pros and cons.
Giving them time to weigh the pros and cons would’ve also given them time to pull a grenade.
I would have had a giant bowl of real popcorn, with real butter and watched him in 3D on my 65” screen and probably break the replay button.
How many different stories will the White House release on this?
No - what got deleted was a thread that reported it was Panetta who organized the strike force and gave the order. Obama wouldn't/couldn't make the decision because Valerie Jarrett had his ear. So this report said.....
