Hussein has no business coming near the 9-11 site. GWB is right to give him the finger....especially since Hussein didnt have the decency to thank him.

Awesome..
Let the scumbag man-child Ubama look like the skunk he is as he seeks to steal the credit for the risks taken by the same US military that he and his party have relentlessly tried to eviscerate for decades.

Good for Bush to distance himself from this shameless scumbag’s photo op.

I am glad that President Bush declined the invite as well.

It was kind.

Because we know and he knows that the families he has already embraced in NYC, the ones who suffered the loss of beloved family members there, also know that it was President Bush who set into motion the plans and foundations that allowed this find and kill to go forward.

President Bush not only had the terrorists to fight , and a nation to keep safe, but he had an HORRIFIC, and in my opinion, UNFAIR battle to fight at home with a press corp that trashed and ridiculed almost every move he made to ensure our future safety. From Gitmo to military actions, a merciless homegrown band of dirty liberals fought President Bush every single step of the way.

Now they change their tunes. Do they really think the American people are that stupid. Do they think photo ops of uhbama with the 9-11 families will cover what they have done with roses? Good luck with that.

I am glad, in the end, that President Bush has been invited, if he had not been invited, I cannot tell you the lengths I would go to see that everyone I could possibly reach would know of this horrific snub.

And tho I am sorry for the families there that I know yearn for another hug and thanks yous from him, I am glad he declined. That is real CLASS.

Now, if there’s going to be elephants, free food, circuses, maybe a few Christians thrown to lions... then I’d see a PR angle...

that’s the reason he invited Pres. Bush. so he could feed him to the lions. You can bet the union thugs will have busloads of demonstrators there to yell, scream and swoon over his every word.
Just wish we could get the word out to the voters that these are paid swooners and supporters.

Class, class, class. Besides, he’d upstage 0 - of course, I’d love to see that. But W is allowing 0 the limelight. Pure class.

I understand it, but think this is sad. GW was the president we needed when we needed him and he deserves a pat on the back for all the work he did. It would be nice if Obama could stop talking about himself long enough to recognize GWB for the great American he is.

I don’t care what some people say about you President Bush, on the war on terror, you always placed the USA on high ground. I didn’t always agree with some of your policies, but when it concerned 9/11, you showed your love of Country and the American People. You kept me safe. You sir, are a real class act.
Glad you told Obama, Thanks but no Thanks.

Bill Clinton would have gone, taken over the podium, and Obama would leave for ice cream.

“Therefore, the American people have wisely established a custom against allowing any man to hold that office for more than two consecutive terms. But every shred of power which a President exercises while in office vanishes absolutely when he has once left office. An ex-President stands precisely in the position of any other private citizen, and has not one particle more power to secure a nomination or election than if he had never held office at all, indeed, he probably has less because of the very fact that he has held the office.” - Theodore Roosevelt

I agree Bush is a class act, but I don’t see why he should avoid this. The crowd will let Obama know who deserves the real credit without him having to say a word.

Bush has his faults.

Being an attention whore is NOT one of them.

President Bush should visit on his own. Mr. Obama is using New York for a campaign photo-op. He is such a fake.
