Once the bread and circuses begin, wins and stats are the only tangible matter and I am speaking as a football viewer who understands the Sports Bar mentality.

With stats like the ones you posted, Mendenhall could be caught, with video and photo evidence mind you, of having a ménage à trois with Osama bin Laden along with a goat and still make it to the Pro Bowl.
