Why? This is not time for celebration, yes, we can be elated and feel justice has been done but the war is not over. Save the celebrations for when all of the troops are home.

I think it's understandable that Bush would not go. This is a campaign stop for barry as much as anything. In addition, barry traditionally treats Republicans horribly during these events, and likely worse off stage. On top of it all, barry has constantly slandered Bush as the "source of all evil" for his adminstration's problems.

I think it's best to let barry sweat it out all alone. Nobody buys that he does anything that isn't completely contrived and political, and none of it is in the best interest of our country.

I should add that I scanned through DUh this morning on this very topic. Base on what I read there, the rabid mouth-frothers believe he's not going because he'd get shot. Lovely crew there...*wretch* Bush is already credited for his efforts by the right, however the left cannot be salvaged on this matter, IMHO.
