That was my assumption. Obama is seated in the back corner on an uncomfortable chair. He doesn’t look happy. Everyone else has a computer, is alert, and looks as if they are about their business.
Maybe it makes sense to have the General seated at the head of the table, facing the screens at the other side of the room, if he is in charge of the operation. But normally, that’s where Obama would be seated—in the seat of honor at the head of the table. Or at the general’s right hand.
That’s certainly what Miss Manners would prescribe, at the dinner table OR the conference table.
Or should I say Admiral? I’m not familiar with the very latest in dress uniforms. I suppose an Admiral might be in charge of a group of Seals.
I heard somewhere (I think it was on Rush yesterday) that 0 had just returned from a golf outing-was wearing his usual golfing shirt-and that someone gave him the windbreaker that he is shown in.
Makes sense when considering that he looks so out of place in the picture.
