Bloodstains and bullethole debris notwithstanding, the furnishings looked fairly shabby as well. That cot seemed to have just a piece of foam rubber for a mattress.
The grounds outside looked unkempt as well. What was with that rusted out greenhouse frame?
If there were a lot of kids running around that would explain all the bare dirt patches.
Otherwise, it looked more like a set from “Slumdog Millionaire”.

On Greta tonight...reporter from Pak. said the Seals took one man alive. (Now that's interesting). His 10yr. old daughter and 29 yr. old wife were left ..a total of 12 people were left. This information appears to be coming from the ten year old speaking with the Pak authorities. Which would be questionable of course...but interesting.
I'm so glad you said this cause it sure isn't anything but big....what a dump...and even considering the troops likely caused the disarry of items...the beds mattresses aren't much more than foam...However, some are saying that the reason BL had money sewed into his clothes is giving pause tot the fact that this might have been just another "safe house" and that he was still on the move...traveled light...he might have bought the home 5 yrs ago but that doesn't mean he was there all those years.

I'd guess the Seals had to move the bodies into position to verify their identities. I doubt they fell into positions where their faces were easy to see and photograph.

If you mean, why not destroy it while the operation was going on?... I have read they did try destroying it. may-be they had to get out as soon as possible? and it was over looked.
There are a lot of strange story’s’ on this operation. Looks as though the American Gov. want release the true story for forty or fifty years from now, if even then? Leaks will be the only way trying to put all of this in perspective?

From what I read the tail contacted the security wall when it set down hard. The SEALs destroyed the main section. There are pictures of the charred rubble.
