But we just can't seal the border. That would be so terrible. Nobody would be able to cross the border into our country except at the designated check points if they sealed it.
What's next, someone is going to suggest pulling troops out of Afghanistan and stationing them along our southern border with Mexico? Then nobody would be able to get in.
sarcasm;, in case it needed to be said.

They surely are not the ‘gunrunner’ recipients are they?
To: newzjunkey
All they need is a 4x4. There are hundreds of miles of unpatrolled road/trail crossings. Anyone from AZ/SoCal who has any off-roading experience has crossed the border, knowingly or not, repeatedly if they wheel there.
The DHS knows how easy it is. Remember, Nappy was AZ Governor...That’s part of why they want these areas closed to OHV access. WE suffer the loss of our public land rather than anyone else being ...inconvenienced by our presence there.
Look up ‘Glamis’ and the OHV areas along Interstate 8. Those dunes are wide open into Mexico and BLM has fought for years to close them.
Also, think how AZ has those signs now to ‘warn’ us about drug traffic.
The border isn’t ‘unsafe’, it’s a wide open freeway for terrorists.

Why bother blowing us up when they can waltz across the border, sign up for benefits, vote for anti-US candidates, and wait for us to bankrupt ourselves?

He doesn’t need one. Under his administration, we can invade any country and get who we want...as long as a liberal is in the WH./s/

What does the government of Mexico do with its time? Does it do anything at all? Or is it “Si - manana”?

Where is another Capt. McNelly when you need him?
It’s clear the Feds can’t control the border. Time to beef up the Texas Rangers and let them do the job that others won’t do.

It is not that the Feds can't control the border. They can control the border if they want to. They do not, for reasons that are unknown to me, want to control the border.
Despite what the Cops-Can-Do-No-Weong crowd wants to believe, they do not give a damn about the trials and tribulations of the ordinary working citizen. Control and compliance is their goal.
Criminals? Who cares what they do. We arrest a few every once in a while to make the sheep think that we are protecting them. When the criminals kill one of us, we go after them full speed.
