So how do the “meters” go on your car? Do you take them in to some central location, or do they come to YOU?

That’s what I’m curious about. How is the government going to come up with the equipment that will fit every make, model and year of vehicle on the road? How are they going to collect that data especially if you use a vehicle that isn’t electric and doesn’t fill up at a retail location?
‘cash for clunkers’ eliminated a bunch of older cars...a simple cpu hookup could reasonably be mandated to the existing systems and a new ‘fee’ extracted for the clunkers that still roll...
