[. . .Obama representative was contacted by Americanthinker.com and he responded that if given the names he would correct the mistake. A few hours later the couple called me to inform me they were allowed to come.]

God bless you.

Exactly. Deb Burlingame was there and her account is chilling. While a seat was reserved at every table for Obama to sit and personally listen to survivors, he never sat down with them. He spent his time posing for campaign photos, hugging some survivors, etc.

She confronted him when he came over and asked why that punk Eric Holder insists on trying terrorists with all the civil rights of US citizens at civilian trials. He huffed and turned and walked away from her.

Good on you, Debra! That one was for your dear brother!!!

‘I was hoping for a obama got osama tee shirt so I could step on it, smear it with dirt and send it to the white house.’

Might be handy when you take your next obama, too.

A more appropriate visit would be to the wounded at Bethesda thanking them for helping to make Osama’s date with justice possible.

Deb Burlingame’s encounter with Obama (in her own words):

Debra Burlingame, the sister of Chip Burlingame (pilot of the plane that crashed into the Pentagon) met with President Obama today, along with other families who were victims of 9/11. Burlingame said she confronted Obama about Attorney General Eric Holder prosecuting the men who interrogated KSM, which may have produced intelligence leading us to bin Laden.

Burlingame describes the encounter with Obama: “As a former attorney I know you can’t tell the Attorney General what to do, he said, ‘No, I can’t.’ But I said ‘we — that shouldn’t stop you from giving your opinion. We wouldn’t be here today if they hadn’t done their jobs. Can’t you at least give them your opinion.’ And he said ‘no I won’t,’ and he turned around and walked away.”

My thought exactly. I was very pleased that Bush said “No”

Clearly he never expected to be asked to do anything patriotic. His answer does not mean that he has a principled reason for not giving Holder his opinion.

He means he agrees wholeheartedly with Holder and has no intention of stopping his efforts to destroy the US intelligence community.

It is time to muzzle this mad dog.

‘Scuse me. I’m a lifelong New Yorker, and a Viet Vet. I take MAJOR offense to your idiotic statement about us being a ‘special breed of America haters’. It’s churlish and idiotic.

And next time, if you’re going to paint with such broad brush strokes, use a roller. You’ll need one.

Does anyone remember the photo op of McCain and BO at GZ in 2008? Say what you will about McCain, but he was reverent and clearly moved. I think he may have touched a wreath, bowed his head. BO just stood there like a awkward teenager forced to attend his great aunt’s funeral!

Yeah, he says we won’t “spike the football”, and then he goes and takes a victory lap.

He's a wide receiver that caught a pass from the 2-yard line completely uncovered and high-stepped into the end zone. Now's just the celebratory backstroke in the endzone. Pretty soon we'll be treated with a post-game interview where he thanks his creator, his natural athletic ability, and the coaches for knowing that he was the one that needed to have the ball thrown to him (and that if they had looked to him more in the game, the score would have been even better of course.)

My heart goes out to the survivors of the victims of 9-11.

Being that 2000 bodies were never recovered, and some families didn’t get as much as a fingernail to bury, Osama got some primo treatment.

Some families have to live with the pain that their beloved’s remains became food for the seagulls at the Staten Island dump.

Obama does not know and does not care about the ongoing pain of these people.
