Catholic priests have little to do with small children today. I suspect that rabbis also have little to do with children, and they have less than their share of pedophiles, but they are still higher than Catholic priests. There are just far, far fewer rabbis, so you don't hear about it as much, but they definitely exist. Google "pedophile rabbi," like you just made me do and see what I mean.

Not going to let you wiggle out on a semantic point. You "called bull" on post #1 to this thread, and quoted me:

Then submitted asinine reasons for why all Catholic priests were perverts. You personally insulted me, and had the temerity to accuse me of antisemitism. These are the facts: The actual numbers are hard to come by in any religion. You have demonstrated an erroneous and prejudiced belief that there is a high rate of pedophilia among Catholic priests. This is a common misconception, but it is entirely false. Catholic priests are actually far less likely to be pedophiles than the male population in general. Catholicism is the largest religious denomination in the US. It dwarfs the religion of Judaism. Nevertheless, the population of Jewish rabbis has more than its fair share of pedophiles. I point this out not to attack the Jewish faith, of which I hold in the highest regard, but to draw attention to your misconception. Again, try goggling "Rabbi + Pedophile" if this comes as a surprise to you. Perhaps I am more familiar with the issue, because NY has ten times the Jewish population of Maryland and the town I grew up in and still live in is 1/3 Jewish. The next town over is one of the most affluent majority Jewish towns in the country.
Now, none of this is to say that there is a pedophilia problem in among Jewish rabbis. Quite the opposite. I assume that pedophilia there is far below the national average as well. Again, none of this was said to attack the Jewish faith, just to help you with your ignorance. I hope that's what I did. Draw your own conclusions if you like. Just don't start with false assumptions.
BTW, to get back to your original justification of rabbis being less likely to become pedophiles because they are encouraged to marry and have children, it may also surprise you to learn that pedophiles are also more likely to be married.
