If Winston Churchill had run for dog catcher in MN on the Republican ticket, he’d have lost in a landslide.

It wouldn’t surprise me if he comes up after November of next year....and announces his retirement....letting Arizona to pick a replacement.

...nominating his broad-ass narrow-minded daughter, Meghan McCain, as his replacement.

What the heck does McCain care. He’s got another 5 1/2 years thanks to the feckless voters in Arizona.

I get tired of people maligning the entire state because of McCommunist winning every time. I personally had nothing to do with it and fought hard to keep him out. It’s like maligning the entire U.S. for the percentage that put an affirmative action Marxist occupier into office.

Yup. When a candidate scores up $20+million into his campaign war chest just for a primary, (and like someone asked earlier, just where do they get that?...from his lobby and congress sponsors in DC, Soros, ect....) how is the average candidate running against him (no matter who they are, unless they're of the same "cut") going to have a chance?

McCommie has flip-flopped and lied to this state so many times one would get whiplash following him jump the line back and forth. He's an A#1 carpetbagging sleazebag, and SOME of us know it and have paid attention for the last 20+ years he's been in office. And d###mit, we tried.

$20 million in a primary says that he knew that Arizonan's had enough, unfortunately it was enough to pull the strings to keep him in office. Anyone here notice just how much *campaigning* he did for the general? Nada, his funds had run low. What Arizonan's did was cause him to spend nearly all of the presidential coffers (that they didn't ask him back for). But what good was that, it got us nowhere.

AZ Republicans have been nominating and electing McPain ever since the conservative-turned-liberal Goldwater left the Senate in 1987. Most people there truly believe in McPain.

Yes, 86 is still way younger than the age customarily preferred by WV Democrats.

Those voting records are next to useless; they are rigged; so favored lawmakers are told how to vote on the roll calls being tabulated.

Of course, you’re right but AZ and SC are particularly awful in Senate choices McPain and Graham. These two do the bidding of the Democrats.

Well, I guess the elections could be rigged in favor of liberals of both parties. If so, the American people may be smarter than I think they are.

“All respect due for his past courage and sacrifice.”
______________________________________________________

This is not meant to be harsh towards you directly, but I’m well beyond sick and tired of folks giving this A-Hole the obligatory: “...but I have great respect for this man’s past courage blah...blah”

Sorry, but this creep signed his name to a bill that limited our free speech! I could give a rats arse if he previously served! In fact, this makes McCain-Feingold even more appalling! If you folks want to keep praising him for his military service, you go right ahead...but I no longer feel the obligation.

Hayworth ran a campaign on a shoestring and still managed to get two of five Republican votes. McCain can always count on his slimey Phoenix cabal to give financial support, and the braindead military retirees to vote his way. No politician who holds office longer than one term believes that the American electorate is either educated or intelligent.

McCain got the vote that really counted: Karl Rove's and Mike Steele'. Sarah Palin put the super-annuated inept aviator over the top.

The other two people in Arizona who can read and write on the same day voted for Hayworth. However, I understand that some 53% of the American electorate went for some guy whose father was a foreigner for President in 2008?

Apparently, on every level, we Americans have exactly the government we deserve. The meaning of the terms "The Lesser of Two Evils," and "Enlightened Self-Interest," are not all that well understood

I know absolutely nothing about the Politics in Arizona, but is it possible that McCain has enough pull to steal a few districts? I can’t believe the swing indicated by the polls. It is almost as if polls were propped up to make certain there were no raised eyebrows after his win.

Does Arizona have “Party Line” Ballots?

THAT could explain why this loser keeps getting nominated.
