Well, Groupon customer service replied again as indicated below. I told them that their explanation was not acceptable because Groupon had taken an affirmative step to not allow advertisements on the Celebrity Apprentice website based upon pressure from only one side. The explanation is listed as follows and there is a reference to their webblog for additional info:

Hi ____,

Again, thanks for your feedback. To clarify, we are not boycotting Donald Trump, and we are not pulling our ads or our sponsorship of The Apprentice, because we never actually sponsored The Apprentice. You can read more about that here: http://www.groublogpon.com Above all, our responsibility is to you, our customer, and as a company, our job is to bring you great deals every day in your area -- we try to keep polarizing politics out of that. We value you and your opinions, and we'd love for you to continue using our services. If we've failed in that respect, or you feel that we've let you down and wish to be unsubscribed from our site, you can do so by clicking "Unsubscribe" in any of our emails. Regards, Anjali support@groupon.com

They did a great job marginalizing Trump.

I'd like to see Trump get out there and talk about the CIA agents who are under investigation for waterboarding.

So many people don't even know about this...

I think Living Social is the one that advertises not Groupon. They have a similiar business format.

Actually, they do, but in an indirect way. If you go to their weblog, they used a service that placed their advertisements in various websites on a rotating basis. They claim they didn’t specifically authorize appearances on the Celebrity Apprentice site, but the service they use did place such ads. However, after pressure from the anti-inquiry Obama forces, they instructed that none of their ads were to appear on the Celebrity Apprentice website.
