‘Sluts’ rally vs. sexism

It’s not every day that you see women circling Boston Common in the midafternoon wearing only micro minis and bras.

So when the “Boston Slutwalk” wound its way from Government Center to the Common yesterday, chanting, “However we dress, wherever we go, yes means yes, and no means no,” heads turned, but there weren’t many catcalls.

But then, you don’t mess with 200 “sluts” on a mission.

The "Boston Slutwalk"...need I say more.

So now we have yet another class of victim - women who dress like sluts and are apparently upset because some guys are not acting like gentlemen around them and are not treating them with the proper decorum and respect.

This "movement" also insults the victims of rape. Most rape victims are not "sluts" and would never walk the streets of Boston in fishnet stockings and bras.

Reading this about the “Slut Walk” I recalled the following:

“She is loud and stubborn; her feet abide not in her house.” (Proverbs 7:11)

Praise God there is a way of escape: (1 Corinthians 6:9-11)

No woman deserves sexual assault - period.

However, no woman should dress like a street walker either.
