Also throw in huge amounts of “fossil fuel pollutants” that won't be released driving the kiddies to/from school.
No to/from school would lead to less traffic on the roads, which equals less need for maintaining roads, right?
The need for tax revenues should plummet! YAY!
Like “they'd” ever let any of this stuff pass, right?
I agree with you 100%. Have private outfits compete to educate each student at home, like University of Phoenix does.
Think of the money we’d save! And no more public school crap!
First, parents would have to agree to give up the *free* babysitting — which is all public schools really provide. Kids can’t be left alone at home to attend school online, can they ? Parents aren’t going to be willing to pay a babysitter to stay with the kid all day long while the kid attends online.
After all, parents are willing to pay ~$500/mo for babysitting when the kid is too young for school, but they somehow can’t afford to continue that expense and send the kid to private school ? The lure of getting to keep that $500/mo must be pretty strong. So strong they don’t even care if the kid gets an education, as long as they get the *free* babysitting.
