“the man, who carries a Yemeni passport”
More proof that we need to frisk grannies, feel up 12 year olds, radiate passengers, and require more Islamic sensitivity training for TSA agents.
It’s a good thing I wasn’t on the flight. You never know what might happen when 185 pounds drops on your larynx. Oopsie!
Just heard a woman who was on the flight telling how male passengers quickly jumped the guy. She said “Americans aren’t going down like that any more”. I guess “if you want something done right, do it yourself.” Good for those passengers. Hope they taught the guy a lesson. But I bet we won’t get any follow-up on what happens to the guy.
Obama Rejects Plea From Sister of 9/11 Victim to End to CIA Probe
Published May 05, 2011 | FoxNews.com
The sister of a Sept. 11 victim said President Obama on Thursday turned down her request to advise Attorney General Eric Holder to drop his probe of CIA agents whose interrogation methods may have provided information leading to the raid on Al Qaeda leader Usama bin Laden.
Debra Burlingame, whose brother was the pilot of American Airlines Flight 77, which was hijacked and forced into the Pentagon on Sept. 11, 2001, told Fox News on Thursday that she made the request during Obama’s meeting with families of victims of the Al Qaeda attack.
When the president approached her table, Burlingame said she told him that as a former attorney she knows he can’t tell the attorney general what to do an assessment the president agreed with, she said.
“And I said, but that shouldn’t stop you from offering your opinion. After all, we wouldn’t be here celebrating today if they hadn’t done their job,” she said. “And they have the hammer of a possible indictment over their heads. Can’t you at least give him your opinion?”
THE PRESIDENT REPLIED THAT HE WOULDN’T, SHE SAID. SHE ADDED, “AND HE TURNED AROUND AND WALKED AWAY.”
rage-it
Sudden Bin Laden Sadness Syndrome.
it’s only a matter of time....days, weeks, months....before one of these clowns is literally beaten to death by his fellow passengers.
Stylistic opinons vary. The actual subject of the sentence is "none;" however the most proximal noun is "passengers," which is actually the object of a prepositional phrase serving as an adjective to the subject.
[[Then there's the interesting and defensible British usage of the plural for collective nouns, such as a company name: "Today Intel have announced a new breakthrough."]]

Botanical innovations!
I was just going to comment on the close proximity of Burbank to the Bridgeview Mosque. On the local ABC News last night, they said it was “NOT” a terrorist incident, but they never gave the guy’s name. This is interesting.....
I’m a regular listener to Armstrong & Getty, a local morning newstalk show in SF. Not one but TWO callers who knew people on that flight said that the Amish man errrr I mean alleged Moose-limb was shouting “Allah Akhbar!” when he went ape-s**t.
Of course, you won’t hear that in local or national LSM as it doesn’t fit their uber-PC narrative.
I believe that is correct, sir.
It’s Chicago, so I’m sure the TSAs didn’t want to bother their “people,” and instead were busy scanning pretty white girls, and molesting elderly little old white ladies and young kids. I’ve seen this every time I fly from a “diverse” airport.
rageit, pageit, just don’t try to cageit .
I have an easy answer for that. I watched as a probably mid-50 year old mildly overweight WASP lady was pulled out of line at Chicago. Someone yelled out “random search” and the TSA put her in this clear plastic walled “pen” for about 10 minutes, then spent the next 10 minutes or so going through her luggage and checking her out thoroughly. I feel so much safer.
He just wanted his bag of peanuts to go with his cola.
