Does anyone else think: why the hell do I have to watch the country I love turn into the mess it has become? And I ask this as a veteran, a guy that is trying to retire peacefully. But finding I am back supporting kids and family to the point, when you add tax in, it’s starting to get tough. If I were younger I’d be stirring up things more. But I don’t see even the younger generation able to fight this crap. Too many of them get sucked into the kulturesmog of liberalism. They don’t know the bad guys in Hollywood, so watch them in movies. Etc. Etc. Etc. Life is becoming a slow and agonizing process.
I’m with you; I think if everyone does a little something, and a few people do a lot of something, we will win this thing
I hear you, brother. Just because I only served on active duty for 6 years, I feel that when I took the oath to “defend the Constitution, against ALL enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC”, the obligation of that oath didn’t end 20+ years ago.
But what is a person to do. I try to stay informed. I write letters to the editor. I engage whomever I can in civil discourse about the wrong direction of this country. I pay my taxes. I provide a steady income for my family. I volunteer in various capacities as time allows, but all of that doesn’t really seem to do much.
The most important thing I think a person can do is take care of their own family and be prepared, as best as one can be for the worst. If choas is around the corner, I’m fairly well prepared to protect and provide for my family and help other similar thinking individuals to survive as well.
Most importantly though, imo, is pray to God for strength and guidance.
You’re not alone, CT.
