Crony capitalism is great if you are a crony.

Crony capitalism is great if you are a crony.

But not if you are a capitalist.

Democrats are running a protection racket. Too bad there are no gutsy prosecutors to go after them under RICO statutes.

"The problem with Capitalism isn't that you have too many capitalists -- it's that you have too few." -- GK Chesterton

I like the free market. I would like to see many people with sufficient ownership of private property such that they could maintain a decent lifestyle without constantly using political pull or cheating their neighbors.

What we have now is not a free market, and it is not Capitalism. It is simply Fascism where the business people with friends in government can get rich and the government workers with friends in the business world can get powerful.

Our system is very broken. The accumulation of great wealth in the hands of a few is not a good sign, it is a bad sign. Now, I don't want to wave a magic wand, take away from the rich, or redistribute the wealth. That's not me. But I think people should realize that the Titans of Banking, Health Care, Insurance, and Pharmaceiticals, are Titans because they are gaming the system and engaging in crony capitalism. Those "successful businessmen" are not on our side -- they are playing for the other team.

You’re right. What is shows is that more money is given which is probably because the highest paid CEOs who can give the most are mostly whores.

I hear that is about to change. Either they won’t give or it will be to GOP.

CEOs give money to whomever is in power, it’s strictly business.
