Northwestern University will not offer a controversial human sexuality class next academic year after its professor came under fire for allowing a live sex-toy demonstration during an after-class lecture.
About 100 of psychology professor J. Michael Bailey's students observed a naked woman being penetrated by a motorized sex toy on Feb. 21. The university said in March that it would investigate the incident; officials said Monday that the review continues.

Coming to a Jr High near you probably.
Our culture is getting more rotten by the minute
They cancelled the class because alumni (donors) complained. Shows what can be accomplished if conservatives (or normal people) get off the sidelines and get active.
Yup, that’s what passes for a lib arts “education” now.
Oh, and those bright young students can probably text, too.
Even though few - if any - would have a clue how texting actually works (really works...that is...not pushing the buttons and having the symbols magically appear at some other phone).
And remember, they’ll get “degrees” from this joke of a college.
And just when I was gettin’ ready to matriculate.
Could they have gotten academic credit for the "work" ?
This isn’t a joke?
What I don’t understand for the life of me is where/how they found some woman to strip naked and engage in sex with a machine in front of 100 college students......I mean, WTF???
How many of them can read?

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again: I’ve taken Prof. Michael Bailey’s class, and he is a perv who has no boundaries. He doesn’t understand the difference between studying a subject, teaching it, and actually having sex in the classroom.
Students are manipulated into attending “voluntary” after-class activities on bondage, transexuality, outings to gay bars wtih drag shows, etc. Prof. Bailey strongly suggests that anyone who will not participate is prudish.
This situation is like having a criminal justice professor who encourages students to rob a bank after hours, arguing that is the only way they will learn.
Northwestern has many psych professors who are qualified to teach a traditional course on human sexuality, but the way this course was taught amounts to sexual abuse of students.
“Our culture is getting more rotten by the minute”
Obviously by design. What better way to destroy a country other than confuse its values...
Northwestern wasn't a joke of a college when I went there (early 1980's), and -- although I don't support the moral decrepitude of the place -- I'm pretty sure it isn't a joke, from the academic POV, today either.
If NU is an academic joke, then the rest of the Big Ten is a an even bigger joke, and Nebraska, Michigan State, and Ohio State are rolling-on-the-floor laugh riots.
John Michael Bailey (born July 2, 1957 in Lubbock, Texas) is an American psychologist and professor at Northwestern University. He is best known among scientists for his work on the etiology of sexual orientation, from which he concluded that homosexuality is substantially inherited.[1][2][3] He also wrote The Man Who Would Be Queen, which has elicited reactions ranging from strong criticism to a nomination for an award, later retracted,[4] from the Lambda Literary Foundation, an organization that promotes gay literature.

Does this mean that the Sex Toy Demonstration Team won’t be performing any halftime shows? I wonder if I can get a refund on my season tickets?
but not offering the class? sounds like a bunch of party poopers
too funny. How much time do they really need to review this???
"OK team, on Bob's request, we are going to watch the video for the 18th time - please take notes this time!"
I don’t get why they needed a class for this. Google will tell you more than you ever wanted to know and then some. Even so I suppose its better than a class on race/gender relations, or god knows what else.
Hard to believe ..... until one considers that Bernadine Dohrn is on the law faculty of Northwestern University.
