The perp is a man in his 40’s wearing a Bruins shirt and a cap.
(He’s probably just an obnoxious Beantown sports drunk.)

I don’t travel for the company anymore.
I have been ‘in the middle’ of some ‘stuff’ in the past.
Gird your loins...AMERICA.

Maybe, but someone on another thread pointed out that being a wannabe terrorist and being an idiot are not necessarily mutually exclusive. Very true. Intent and ability aren't necessarily related.

This garbage doesnt happen on El Al! That's true, El Al is the safest airline flying however their passenger volume is low in comparison to the balance of the commercial carriers. The low volume lets their psychological profile interview technique work without creating substantial delay.
If all air carriers did as El Al does during boarding checks, the system would grind to a halt. Prospective passengers would have to arrive WAY in advance to overcome the bottleneck.
No question TSA screening is a farce. The only way I can see to fix security and keep people moving is to ban carry on luggage (use bomb scan technology on everything) and require passengers to fly nude. That ought to do it...
Regards,
GtG

And that might just get me flying again. I just am not wanting to subject my family to the current program.

After being in the crowd that subdues this idiot (you can’t open the doors pressurized), I would literally beat the sh1t out of him or her.

We believe Yemenis, and all Moslems,
have a right to open all airplane cabin doors at any time.
They are 'our people' and so it is their right under allah.
Today, we are filing in Federal Court to charge
anyone daring to interfere with these door openings
with a hate crime.
