Same thing happened to my wife’s grandma. Fell down the steps and hit her head on the concrete. Went into a comma. All the neurologists said she was gone. Moved her into a hospice unit. Family all said their goodbys.

A nurse came in one morning and asked (as they do every morning) How are you today Margarette?

To everyone’s amazement Margarette replied “I’m fine”.

Lived another 10 happy years.

My friend’s grandmother was in a coma for a couple of weeks and they were waiting for her to die. I was with my friend visiting her and as she was giving her water with a dropper she missed her mouth and it ran down her chin and she said, “Sorry, Grandma” and Grandma said, “That’s okay, everyone does it.”

She woke up and asked where her birthday cake was. She lived about a month after that.
