The Republicans ought to DEMAND a balanced budget amendment be passed and sent to the states BEFORE they agree to a debt ceiling hike. The great thing about an amendment is that the POS in the White House is not needed in the process.

Attention Conservatives! Name one rule, regulation or agency that is killing us that the “Republicans” have eliminated.....Thought so. They will go down in flames. Prepare for total defeat in 2012. They are going after the “little guys” again. Rats will have a well deserved field day.

The great Walter E. Williams is against a balanced budget amendment because if they have an obscenely high budget, it would still have to be funded and balanced. Cuts,deep massive cuts are the way to go.
