I’m almost certain that if I look up BUFFOON in the dictionary I’ll find Ron Paul’s picture.

Didn’t know that much about Ron Paul was was willing to consider him as a candidate. This comment completely disqualifies him IMO.

Ron Paul is your typical “Libertarian” Coward who sees the US Constitution as a dodge and something to hide behind, not defend.

Not surprised. Ron Paul is an assclown.

I’m glad he made this statement. It will drive more people away from this idiot.

How is this MORON's poll numbers (and contributions) so high?
There is a libertarian streak in most of us Cons, but where we part ways with the true "believers" is on National Defense and Security.

He is honestly expressing his views. Unfortunately for him, his views are totally out of touch with the vast majority of voters. He is unelectable.
To: Sub-Driver
On very rare occasions RP has a good idea, but this statement is the reason he will never be a serious candidate for president. The man is a nut.

Ron Paul would be almost as bad a president as 0 but I’m glad he’s pushing to audit the Fed.

At least he’s consistent. He (and the Libertarian Party) lost me on 9/11 when he came out against responding to the attacks.

Sticking to your political beliefs is one thing, but this was a necessity for the nation. Sorry, RP. Some things about you I like, but when it comes to something as obvious as this, you are just not the man.

should have worked with the Pakistani government instead of authorizing a raid That was done 10 years ago, you moron!
Osama bin Laden mission agreed in secret 10 years ago by US and Pakistan
US forces were given permission to conduct unilateral raid inside Pakistan if they knew where Bin Laden was hiding... The deal was struck between the military leader General Pervez Musharraf and President George Bush after Bin Laden escaped US forces in the mountains of Tora Bora in late 2001, according to serving and retired Pakistani and US officials.
Under its terms, Pakistan would allow US forces to conduct a unilateral raid inside Pakistan in search of Bin Laden, his deputy, Ayman al-Zawahiri, and the al-Qaida No3. Afterwards, both sides agreed, Pakistan would vociferously protest the incursion.

I wonder what the opinion of Ron Paul would be here, IF he should get the Republican nomination.
Would he still be a “wingnut”?
Would the diehard Republicans still vote the party line?
I know Democrats would and do toe the party line but I am really wondering about the Republicans.

I wonder why Ron Paul doesn't go 3rd party before the primaries even begin? He might even do better if he changes parties and goes up against Obama in the Democrat's primaries. Without Dennis Kucinich running, they have a space open for him.

"Why can't we work with the government?" Now that's a double face palmer with a half twist.
