Two Men Arrested Over Alleged Synagogue Plot in New York

Two Americans have been arrested by New York City police for allegedly plotting to attack a synagogue in the New York area, Fox News has learned.

One source described the case as the latest example of “homegrown” radicalization. The two men were identified as Mohammad Mamdouh, of Moroccan descent, and Ahmed Serhani, of Algerian descent.

Serhani allegedly made a general statement about wanting to attack a synagogue –- though no specific synagogue was mentioned, according to initial information obtained by Fox News. With a history of drug dealing, Serhani was hoping to make enough money to purchase weapons and possibly explosives for the attack, one source said.

The plan, however, apparently never became operational, and the pair never acquired weapons for it, the source said.

Yep, there’s a reason that this son of a New York Jewish family has quite the arsenal in his home, waiting for these worthless SOBs to break down the door. I’m not walking quietly into the railway car like my ancestors.

And, just as an aside, concerning the issue which always comes up on the Jewish threads.... I have no idea why my relatives are so foolish as to vote Democrat or liberal. Many of them do. Not all of us, though.

Mohammed and Ahmed, not Bill and Steve, were planning the attack.

Liberals keep saying not to jump to conclusions and all that. But it seems that far more terror incidents are inspired by Islam than by other radical ideologies.

One of the liberal favorites to talk about is abortion clinic violence. But the numbers of such incidents is far smaller than Islamic inspired attacks.

All of the violence is wrong, if we have to debate the liberals on the issues. But the liberal view that we can’t say anything about Islamic terror/violence because of abortion clinic violence is wrong headed logic, in my opinion.

Not sure I'd describe "Mohammad" or "Ahmed" as "homegrown". Sounds like they, or at the very least their parents, were "grown" in a Muslim backwater dung heap, of which the world certainly has no shortage...

I think the name, “Ahmed” is a derivative of “Mo’ Ham Ed!”.

How could you say such a thing? Why, they're every bit as "homegrown" as Wally Cleaver or Greg Brady.

Or, for that matter, as William Ayers.

Ahmed \a(h)-med\ as a boy's name is pronounced AH-med. It is of Arabic origin, and the meaning of Ahmed is "highly praised or one who constantly thanks God". [It is] One of the many names of the prophet Muhammad, and popular with American Muslims. The name is also commonly used throughout the Islamic world. Football player Ahmad Plumer.

Ahmed has 10 variant forms: Achmad, Achmed, Ahmaad, Ahmad, Ahmet, Ahmod, Amad, Amadi, Amahd and Amed.

So basically they were both named for the Prophet, peace be on Him.

And our next job will be explaining to them why they can’t live in the basement and use our stuff after their beliefs have destroyed the economy.
