Gingrich Feels the Heat for Appearing in Global Warming Ad With Pelosi
By Judson Berger

Every presidential candidate is going to come into the 2012 race with baggage. But Newt Gingrich has what, for primary voters, could be a doozy in his closet -- three years ago, he cut an ad with Nancy Pelosi for Al Gore's climate change group.
The ad, in which Gingrich and Pelosi don awkward smiles while talking about clean-energy solutions, is coming back to haunt him, along with other statements he's made about climate change, as he officially launches his presidential bid. While Democrats have a long and winding list of grievances against the former House speaker, his past environmentalism could cause problems on the political right.
The early complaints are coming in large part from a former aide to Congress' No.1 climate change skeptic, Sen. James Inhofe, R-Okla. The ex-aide, Marc Morano, has virtually devoted his blog ClimateDepot to lambasting Gingrich's stance on energy issues.
Morano specifically wants Gingrich to apologize for the Pelosi ad and for suggesting that lawmakers need to find a solution to global warming.
"It's almost like he can't admit he made a mistake," Morano told FoxNews.com. "He needs to say it was a brain fart, at the very least."

Get lost, Newt!
Appearing with Pelosi was a stupid thing to do. Advocating for “global warming” was a stupid thing to do. You have to wonder about this guy.
The Newts in my garden are slimy little things that hide under rocks...
So, which brobdingnagian ego will admit a mistake first? Gingrich for global warming, or Romney for RomneyCare?
Hey, Gingrich!!!
That global warming ad with Pelosi, not smart! You will not get my vote either!

“Appearing with Pelosi was a stupid thing to do. Advocating for global warming was a stupid thing to do.”
Appearing with Pelosi + Advocating Global Warming = Unelectable
I don’t wonder. I believe he is a conservative, but he hurt our cause back when slick willy was in trouble, slick and his cohorts knew Newt was cheating on his wife. Newt then traded his wife in on a new model.
He cannot be nominated. Go home Newt and contemplate if your present wife is finally the ONE.
Gingrich is never going to be my choice or my vote. If you like him go for it but don’t ever allow me to change your mind.
Newt voted to create the Dept of Education, China MFN (the real downfall of the USA). While he was going after Clinton on his intern, Gingrich was going after his own intern.
If you think that an outcome should be fact then good for you but it ain’t going to ever happen with me.
There is no Party that will ever overcome my total disdain for hypocrites.

In 1994 we had a full-spectrum conservative party. But then came the government shutdown and years of Democratic attack ads about spending cuts; the result is that enough Republican pols became RINO that we haven’t had a conservative government since. Also the neo-cons bought the Republican Party, and they agree with the Dems about everything besides war in the Middle East.
He has a wonderful gift for speaking but he has a weird obsession with futuristic-techno ideas which is why I think he wants to help out with the Gore-Baloney.
Whatever ‘bridge’ he had he burned with that ad. Newt’s a bright guy but he had a serious brain f-rt that time.
“...which brobdingnagian ego will admit a mistake first?”
I’m not making any bets on either one, ever admitting their mistakes, since I don’t believe they think they made any. They hide their true colors like all RINO’s during an election cycle, but in their hearts they believed in those causes, and continue to be unchanged. Heaven help us all, if this is the best the Repubs can come up with this cycle.
I watched and listened to Newt’s interview last night with Hannity and agreed completely with each position he took in that inerview. Indeed, if it were anybody but Newt, I’d have been pretty well convinced to support him. Unfortunately, however, it was Newt, the very “conservative” who’s been flipped and rolled more than a pancake. Indeed, he’s the most untrustworthy all the pubbie candidates. In short, even though he said all the right things, he didn’t make the sale. In the end, integrity, which Newt is sorely lacking, does count.
To paraphrase Cee Lo Green.......

Wow, Siegfried X. Absolutely spot-on. Pray for America.
