The Soros media will be blaming the Republicans for leaking out the secrets of the raid tomorrow. Republcians will stutter and hide. McCain will agree with his friends across the aisle and denounce the blabbing Tea Party extremists. Meghan will strip off her top on CNN in protest.

If Gates had any honor, he’d resign immediately, call a press conference, and say this in front of cameras. That he hasn’t done so diminishes him and what he has to say.

I thought this from the outset. The first SEAL or family member killed will bleed on Joe Biden’s hands.
I don’t believe there was ever any plan within the Admin to keep the raid a secret. Did Gates really say there was? If so, he is either misleading people or REALLY naive.
But why would anyone think so anyway? Bush didn’t keep it secret when they apprehended KSM and Ramzi bin al Shibh. Should he have kept the apprehension of Saddam secret?

Small chance it would be kept secret with a few dozen executive branch personnel being updated as the mission took place, and who knows how many others knew about it.

Panetta, H. Clinton, Gates, and even Biden and Daley deserve the credit for pushing this mission despite Val Jarret and her puppet, the guy on the little chair. Panetta and Clinton already had to publicly backpedal on the situation room photo. Wonder what threats were made?
